Bufkin and Roufca Join Accredited Insurance Holdings Board

Accredited Insurance Holdings has announced the appointment of Barbara Bufkin and Patricia Roufca as Non-Executive Directors to its Group Board. Bufkin brings with her an extensive career that spans executive roles in reinsurance, specialty insurance, and wholesale distribution. Notable tenures include positions at Guy Carpenter, Swiss Re, Hamilton Insurance Group, and Argo Limited. Currently, Bufkin serves as an Independent Director for Duck Creek Technologies, Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited, and Westfield Companies. Additionally, she chairs the Association of Professional Insurance Women, showcasing her leadership and influence within the industry.

Roufca, on the other hand, has made remarkable strides in her career, most recently serving as the UK CEO and Group General Counsel at Fidelis Underwriting Limited. During her tenure at Fidelis, she was pivotal in the company’s successful bifurcation. Her previous experience includes being the Group Chief Operating Officer at Fidelis and a series of legal roles at Aspen Insurance. William Spiegel, CEO of Accredited, expressed his enthusiasm over the new appointments, highlighting the deep expertise and valuable insights that both Bufkin and Roufca will bring to the table.
